If
Peter said Christ appeared in these last times, were they in the last
days then or is this talking about us in July 2025 (1 Peter 1:20)? If Peter said Christ "has appeared
in these last times for the sake of you" (1 Peter 1:20), then
those "last times" were already happening when Peter was
writing, nearly 2,000 years ago. That means the last days were not in
July 2025. Think about it: Peter wasn't pointing to a distant
future. He was speaking to a first-century
audience, saying plainly: These are the last times. That matches Hebrews 1:2: "in
these last days has spoken to us in His Son" And Acts 2:16-17, where Peter says
Joel's prophecy of the last days was being fulfilled right then. So no, we're not still waiting for the
last days. They were living in them. Jesus appeared in them. And judgment on Old Covenant Israel
came at the end of them. The idea that we are in the last days
today is a misunderstanding of the timeline and context. The Bible
already marked that time, fulfilled, on schedule, just like God
planned.
