The
great tribulation was the worst thing to ever happen to Israel.
The events were the biggest Israel ever saw or will ever see. I believe there will be wars for
eternity on earth. Ecclesiastes 1:4 A generation goes and a
generation comes, But the earth remains forever. Matthew 24:14 This gospel of the
kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all
the nations, and then the end will come. The end came shortly after
the gospel was preach in all the world. Who was Jesus speaking to when In
Matthew 24:21? I can tell you it wasn't you nor anyone in the 21st
century. I believe the Great Tribulation is
behind us. And I trust Jesus' words. I do not have to change the
meaning of words to justify why the Great Tribulation hasn't
happened. 1.1 million Jews killed in
August/September 70 AD by the Romans would seem to qualify as a
fulfillment of this prediction. Josephus writes, "While the
Temple was ablaze, the attackers plundered it, and countless people
who were caught by them were slaughtered. There was no pity for age
and no regard was accorded rank; children and old men, laymen and
priests, alike were butchered; every class was pursued and crushed
in the grip of war, whether they cried out for mercy or offered
resistance. Matthew 16:28 “Truly I say to you,
there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste
death until they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.” Matthew 24:34 Truly I say to you, this
generation will not pass away until all these things take place. Luke 21:22 because these are days of
punishment, so that all things which have been written will be
fulfilled. Luke 21:32 Truly I say to you, this
generation will not pass away until all things take place.

There
is no such thing as a seven year tribulation. The great tribulation
lasted 3-1/2 years 42 months.
John tells us he WAS in the
tribulation with his Contemporaries. (Rev. 1:9)
The Temple Mount, everywhere enveloped in flames,
seemed to be boiling over from its base; yet the blood seemed more
abundant than the flames and the numbers of the slain greater than
those of the slayers. The soldiers climbed over heaps of bodies as
they chased the fugitives." (Josephus' account appears in:
Cornfield, Gaalya ed., Josephus, The Jewish War [1982]; Duruy,
Victor, History of Rome vol. V [1883].)
