Before we can love God with all our heart, mind and strength we first need a revelation of His love for us. The bible says we love Him because he first loved us (1 John 4:19).

When we quote John 3:16 do we really stop to think what a sacrifice His only Son was? Christ was the Word made flesh (John 1:14). The Word of God, which is the seed of God, which is the Son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit, manifested in the flesh.

He was in all points tempted like we are yet without sin. Gave His blood as a sacrifice for our sin. That we might become the righteousness of God in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21). New creatures in Christ, begotten of His Word and born of his Spirit. Seated in heavenly places with Him (Ephesians 2:6). Heirs to his throne. That we could become a royal priesthood, a holy nation. His Sons and his Bride. Begotten of the seed of His Word and conceivers of the seed of His Word and the bearers of His fruit.

What you love is what you desire, what you desire is what you pursue. Fall in love with Him and seek Him with all your heart. You will find Him, know Him, experience Him and He will be real to you. If you want the real thing, be the real thing. You get real with God, God will get real with you. Children are the natural result of the intimacy in a marriage. And fruit is the supernatural result of the intimacy we have with God when we are in a relationship with Him and worship Him until we are impregnated with his Love.
